How do I tell single- from double-knurled pins?
Inspect both ends of the original pin. If only one end has a textured grip pattern, you need a single-knurled pin. If both ends are textured, choose the double-knurled version.
Which direction should I drive the pin in?
Bracelets are usually marked with arrows on the inside of the links indicating drive direction. The knurled end is pressed into the link to lock it in place.
Can I reuse the original pin?
If the knurling is intact and the pin is straight, yes. Otherwise replace it to avoid joint failure.
