This multifunction watch repair kit packs sixteen specialised tools into one bundle that handles the most common watch maintenance jobs and a fair share of household repairs as well. From shortening a steel bracelet to opening a battery compartment, from changing a leather strap to opening a snap-on case back, this is the affordable kit that turns a drawer of mismatched tools into a coherent set.
The kit covers four areas of watch maintenance: bracelet resizing (block, three manual pin punches, hammer, handle pin punch), case opening (three-prong-style wrench for screwed backs, case knife for snap-on backs, three flat screwdrivers for screwed backs), strap change (positioning awl), and small handling (bent-nose pliers, antistatic tweezers, two pocket cross-tip screwdrivers). Together they handle the typical watch repair workflow without forcing you to source individual references.
The same tools also extend beyond watchmaking: the pliers, pocket screwdrivers and tweezers find regular use in glasses repair, model-making, electronics and small DIY. That is why this kit is often described as a multifunction kit rather than a pure watch kit — it fits the drawer of a hands-on owner just as well as the bench of a small shop.
Pick up this kit whenever a watch in your collection needs anything that does not require opening the movement: opening a case to change a quartz battery, shortening a steel bracelet, replacing a leather strap, swapping a clasp, opening a snap-on back to inspect the gasket. The pliers, tweezers and pocket screwdrivers extend usefulness to small DIY and electronics tasks. For watch parts not in the kit — a fresh battery, a watch loop (passant), or other replacement spares — our partner sites cover those needs.
It is not for screwed bracelets such as Rolex Oyster, which require the BERGEON 7260. It is not for delicate movement work, which needs dust-free conditions and dedicated micro-tools.
The kit is built around an affordable, multifunction philosophy: useful tools that handle most everyday maintenance without entry barriers. Hardened steel for the pin punches and screwdrivers, stainless steel for the tweezers, and a coherent set that fits into a normal drawer. Free delivery and shipping from France complete the offering. For higher-end professional usage, dedicated Bergeon or Boley references remain the gold standard.
No. Rolex bracelets are screwed; use the BERGEON 7260.
Yes — open the back with the case wrench or the flat screwdriver, lift the cell with the antistatic tweezers and insert a fresh one.
For watch batteries, watch loops (passants) and other replacement spares, our partner sites cover those needs. Delivery is free and shipping is from France.
Keep the kit organised in its original packaging — it is easy to lose a tweezer or a small screwdriver. Before opening any case back, identify whether it is a screwed back (visible notches around the rim) or a snap-on (smooth rim with a single small lip): using a knife on a screwed back ruins the rim, and using a wrench on a snap-on accomplishes nothing. The pliers should never be used directly on a watch case — they are for accessories and for pulling pins, not for prying. For all bracelet pin work, the support block must be placed on a flat, stable surface.
